Jean-Michel Gathy is the Belgian-born architect at the helm of one of the hospitality world’s most sought after design consultancy firms, Denniston International. Denniston could be described as the “Bentley” of the architectural hotel design world, with a proud heritage of creating some of the world’s most iconic and sought after luxury hotel properties.
Based in Kuala Lumpur at the company’s head office, Jean-Michel Gathy is a creative genius who has worked with the likes of Georgio Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Adrian Zecha, Sol Kerzner and Thomas Pritzker amongst other heavy hitters in the luxury and hospitality areas. He has designed some of the most ground-breaking hotels, gardens and hard-scape areas around the world including One & Only Reethi Rah in the Maldives, The Setai in Miami and Amanwani in Indonesia.
